Placing An Order

Orders and inquiries can be sent to us 24/7 via email. If you wish to call or walk-in for a consult, the order desk is available Tuesday to Friday from 10am until 2pm. Outside of the order desk hours, our team may ask to schedule a future consultation with you, to ensure proper customer service for all of our clients.

Please note that on the weekend the shop can be quite busy with pick-ups; while we will try to accommodate an in-person or phone consult, our team may ask to schedule a future consultation with you, to ensure proper customer service for all of our clients.

Order Deadlines

To ensure our team has adequate time to craft your cake, we do request certain lead times to process your orders. Various timing is required based on the type of work to be completed. The lead times for cakes and cupcakes are as follows:

  • Cupcakes, 12 hours notice;
  • Standard + Signature Buttercream Designs, 48 hours notice;
  • Fondant + Custom Designs, 2 weeks notice

Please note the above times are minimum required times; weekends do reach capacity quickly. Order early to avoid disappointment. Butter cream orders for weekend pick-ups must be confirmed by 2PM on the Thursday prior.

Confirming an Order

Customers will receive an email or phone call stating their order has been confirmed. To confirm an order the following details are required:

  • First + Last Name;
  • Date + Time of Pick-up;
  • Flavour + Design Details;
  • Number of Servings;
  • Phone Number + Email;
  • Payment Confirmation;
    or
  • Credit Card Details on File;

Please note that starting as soon as February 1, 2019, payment in full will be required before an order is confirmed. Our order desk team will confirm this with you at the time of placing an order.

Paying For Your Order

Beginning in February of 2019 Yummy Stuff Bakery will be moving to a prepayment model for all orders placed in-store and online.

This will allow us to maintain a client history of orders and improve your pick-up experience, Payment can be done online or in-store. Once you’ve provided your credit card details they will be securely stored in digital format through Quickbooks Online. We will not have access to your details once the order has been processed.

Once this process has been implemented, orders are only considered confirmed once paid in full.
